Are you guilty of Undercharging?

73% of UK Service Providers Undercharge by £50-200/Hour

That’s £30,000+ lost every year. Not because you don’t know what to charge – because you keep accepting less than you’re worth.

You’re Not Broke Because Business is Bad

This isn’t a “you” problem. It’s an epidemic. And it costs UK service providers millions every year.

This isn’t a marketing problem. It’s not a sales problem.

It’s an undercharging addiction. And you need to break it.

I Lost £100k+ Before I Figured This Out.

I’m Tahirah McIntosh founder of Problem Solving Catalysts. For many years, I ran a graphic design business in Birmingham.

I was good at what I did. Clients were happy. I was fully booked. And I was broke.

Here’s what I did wrong:

  • Charged £500 for projects worth £2,000
  • Offered “mates rates” to everyone
  • Felt guilty asking for more
  • Blamed clients for “not seeing value”
  • Thought being cheap would keep me busy

This is For You If…

  • You’re 2-5 years into your business and fully booked but barely profitable

  • You feel resentful toward clients who “don’t value” your work

  • You’ve never actually tested a higher price (you just assume it won’t work)

  • You offer discounts the moment someone hesitates

  • You’re working 50+ hours a week but can’t afford to pay yourself properly

  • You blame “the UK market” or “the economy” for your pricing problems

  • You know you’re undercharging but you’re terrified to raise your rates

If you ticked 3 or more boxes, keep reading.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You’re a complete beginner (less than 1 year in business)
  • You’re looking for a “get rich quick” scheme
  • You want me to tell you you’re perfect and everyone else is wrong
  • You’re not willing to look at your own behaviour

I work with UK service providers who are ready to take responsibility for their pricing problems.

What People Are Saying

“Tahirah wrote a fantastic book about undercharging – which is a major problem for startup founders.”

“I’ve been undercharging for 3 years. I knew it but thought I HAD to because of my industry. Tatty showed me I was wrong. I raised my rates by 40%. I gave the new prices to two new clients this week. Neither blinked.”

“Tahirah doesn’t just tell you what to charge – she helps you understand why you keep sabotaging yourself. That’s the difference between temporary fixes and lasting change.”

Questions I Get Asked

No. Most pricing courses teach formulas and spreadsheets. I teach behaviour change. You don’t need another calculator – you need to understand why you keep sabotaging yourself.

I’ve worked with designers, consultants, coaches, freelancers, and trades. The undercharging pattern is the same across industries. If you’re a service provider who trades time/expertise for money, this works.

If you’re less than 1 year in business, start with the book. Once you’re established (2+ years, regular clients), come back for the workshop or intensive.

Then you’re attracting the wrong clients. Part of fixing undercharging is learning to say no to people who aren’t your ideal clients. I’ll show you how.

That’s the fear talking. In 8+ years of doing this work, I’ve never seen someone lose ALL their clients. You might lose the bad ones (which is good). The clients who value you will stay. And you’ll attract better ones.

I’m UK-based. I work with UK clients. I understand the UK market. The strategies I teach are specifically for the more skeptical, proof-driven UK buyer. No American hype here.

Book: Amazon’s standard return policy. Workshop: Full refund if you attend and feel you didn’t get value (hasn’t happened yet). Intensive: 50% refund if cancelled 48+ hours before, no refund within 48 hours.
